Houston Bar Assocation Helps Members Prepare for Disaster

Mary Flood, writing at Legal Trade, underscored one city bar association's understanding of the potential impact of hurrican season: The Houston Bar Association today sent its members a special disaster preparedness email. The long-lasting impact of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita on the legal business in the Gulf Region continues to reveal itself not only in the reactive efforts to return business to pre-hurricane days, but in proactive efforts to better prepare in case the unthinkable happens again.
