One of the things that has been in the pipeline here at Blawg is an enhanced search feature. In the past, searching Blawg was strictly a search of the site directory itself. Well, after some weeks of tweaking, I am happy to announce that is no longer the case.
Now, beyond the directory search, you can also search all of the great content being produced across the blawgosphere. Much as with the original directory, one of Blawg's key goals remains connecting content readers to content writers, as quickly and efficiently as possible. With this enhanced search, I think the site better addresses this goal. As you try out Blawg's search feature, you will see that results appear quickly, and allow you to click-through "hits" to the full content on each writer's blawg in a matter of seconds.
By way of examples, click here for a pre-defined search for "marketing." For something a little more specific, try this search for "judicial pay." Or, better yet, just visit Blawg's home page and try your own search via the search box at the top and center of the page.
Blawg's new search is not going to be static. Expect continued enhancements in the coming weeks and months. As the web continues to change the way we all produce, disseminate and consume information, standing still becomes less and less of an option.
For now, I hope you find Blawg's new search useful. And, please feel free to share any thoughts or ideas for improvement you may have. They are always welcome.
