I wanted to take a moment to informally announce a new feature at Blawg.com.
The next time you visit the home page, you will notice a new feature entitled Blawg Map. The Map's initial feature set includes a geographical pinpoint for the location of anyone who has created a profile at Blawg. You can also quickly see each profile itself by simply mousing over any pinpoint. As an aside, creating a profile also allows you to customize your listing in Blawg's directory (as well as a bunch of other coming features still in the development pipeline), so if you are interested in this feature, please consider doing so.
In any case, when you check out the Map, please feel free to give it a test drive and send me any thoughts, comments or feedback you may have.
Note that if you start testing it out, zooming, changing views, etcetera and then cannot find your way back to the original view (like me during my first test run), just hit the reset button.
