Blawg Conference Announced

Pretty exciting to see that Law Seminars International has sponsored an upcoming conference entitled Blog Law and Blogging for Lawyers. Looking at the list of presenters, there are a lot of interesting names, including long-time blawgers and representatives from leading Web 2.0 companies like Yahoo! and Google.

I also noticed that someone from Law.com will be presenting, but didn't see any representatives from either West or Lexis. It is hard to imagine that these companies would take a pass on a conference like this. Whether they buy into blawgs or not, I would hope there is some recognition of the shift in information dissemination that Web 2.0 is starting to develop (of which blawgs are just a part in my opinion). Perhaps reps from these companies will be there as attendees.

In any case, the conference is scheduled for late April in San Francisco. Makes me wish I lived in California. This event would definitely be worth attending. Good stuff.
