Just wanted to wipe a few tears from the eyes of all those who missed out in National Law school entrances,Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology university is starting their law school from september this year!

They are late this year but plan to cover up in winter and summer holidays. Advised by Prof N.L Mitra who established law schools in Jodhpur, Raipur, besides being closely linked with Banglore and Calcutta national Law schools the school is a third generation experiment that is set to dictate the direction of future law education in the country.The Director will be Prof. Faizan Mustafa ,the dean and Ex- Registrar at Aligarh Muslim University.He has authored six books and hundred articles besides being awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship,the Renee Cassi Gold medal at International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg France.They plan to follow the same curriculum as national law school,with experienced teaching staff but with superior facilities like hostel, buildings than other National Schools.The state government has been trying to set up such a law school for sometime but funds have been slow to come.Kiit being the most reputed university in Orissa has taken the initiative.
