I heard through the grapevine this week that Tom Baldwin, Chief Knowledge Officer at
Sheppard Mullin was recognized by the
Legal IT Forum as its “Legal IT Innovator of the Year” award winner last week. Mr. Baldwin's innovation was a strategy of replacing the firm's traditional e-mail newsletters with weblogs, which has apparently spurred a significant growth in readership and directly led to the firm acquiring new business. For an example of a Sheppard Mullin blawg, take a look at the
Antitrust Law Blog. Good stuff.
