I noted with interest a recent notice that
Hubbard One, a division of
FindLaw which specializes in web development and has created quite a number of the AmLaw 100's firm websites, is partnering with the legal technology peer group,
International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), in presenting a webinar entitled
Effectively Deploy Blogs Through Topical Mini-Sites.
While blawg pioneers like Kevin O'Keefe and Larry Bodine, have previously presented on the same or similar topic, this is first foray into blawgs that I have seen from a Thomson-West or Lexis -owned company. Hubbard One is just a small part of Thomson-West, but one can wonder whether this webinar will be an isolated event or if somewhere, somebody in the corporate HQs of the largest legal vertical players is developing a larger plan or strategy for blawgs, and the syndication technologies they spawn.
You can find out more about the Hubbard One - ILTA webinar here.
