Federal Employee Ethics Weblog

Sabrina Pacifici's beSpacific points out an interesting legal ethics blawg entitled IEC Journal. The site's mission statement lays out this weblog's purpose: "This site is a project of the Interagency Ethics Counsel that supports the lawyers and other federal government employees who work in the area of standards of conduct for government employees, often referred to as 'ethics' for government employees."

Similar to the BoardBuzz blawg I mentioned last week, IEC Journal appears to be a collaborative effort among subject matter experts, which is a healthy and useful approach to blawgging. The more hands on board, the better the chance for keeping the blawg alive over time and the more likely the site will offer useful and diverse expertise, opinion and commentary.
