In case you missed it, interesting article from the USA Today yesterday entitled,
Tech firms cash in as lawyers plug in. I am sure some of the article is pure hype, but it is nice to read some buzz about tech companies, large and small, exploring new ways to deliver solutions to the legal vertical.
I was especially interested in the section covering marketing and business intelligence. I have never understood why attorneys in general don't spend more time learning about their competition and what the competition brings to the table--before making a pitch. If they would bring the same level of attention to marketing, strategy and competitive discovery as they do their clients' cases, they could develop a potent toolkit for gaining new clients.
Anyway, the article is worth a read and nice to see.
