An interesting article at
Washington Technology.com concerning weblogs as a knowledge management tool within the United States' Department of Justice (DOJ).
The flavor of weblog deployed at the DOJ is that developed by Traction Software. Traction has been, in part, funded by the investment arm (In-Q-Tel) of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and counts the CIA amongst its customers.
You can find out more about the DOJ's use of weblogs, as well as early feedback here. One item worth noting is the low cost of an enterprise level "weblog" suite versus traditional KM products; another big plus that weblogs offer to the mid to large size entity.
