An emerging trend, especially outside of the United States, is the mobile weblog or "moblog." The basic concept is wireless blogging via a handheld device or similar.
Mobloggers apparently can add images as well as text to their weblogs; thus, they can take a picture with their cellphone camera and then instantly upload it to their weblog site.
Which makes me wonder how long before technological advances allow anyone and everyone to stream video directly from a handheld device to their weblog, literally as an event is unfolding.
And, as is starting to be reported all over the world, one can only imagine the realm of legal issues and liabilities surrounding the use of such technologies.
Addendum: No sooner did I finish adding this item, when this article from Business 2.0 arrived in my inbox. Corporate America is already dealing with moblogs it appears.
