The New York Times has reported that
Google just purchased Pyra Labs, which is the six person company that owns and runs
Blogger.com and
Blogspot.
This move is already being termed a "watershed" moment for the weblog medium. With big corporate dollars and Google's huge user base entering into the picture, the future gets brighter for the weblog concept.
